Dear US Families,
On behalf of the entire Upper School Faculty and Staff, I joyfully welcome both our new and returning families to the 2025-2026 school year. This year we currently have 27 new Upper School students joining us and we are so excited to have you as part of our community. We hope you are all able to attend the Back-to-School Bash on Saturday, August 16. It will be a time to meet new friends, purchase new Oakridge gear, and much more!
I wanted to take this opportunity to let you all know that I unfortunately will not be able to attend the Back-to-School Bash this year because I will be moving my oldest daughter, Lily, to Texas Tech University in Lubbock. Although I am sad to miss this special event, this is a milestone moment for our family and we are truly excited. If you would like to connect via email, phone call, or in person in the coming weeks, I would be more than happy to schedule time for us to visit. Please contact Mrs. Blake and she will find us a time to connect. I cannot wait to meet you all!
We hope to see as many of you as possible at the Parent Information Night (parents only, please) on Tuesday, August 26 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. You will have the opportunity to learn about US routines, advisory programming, curricular goals, and other pertinent information to make sure the school year is the best it can be.
I would like to take this opportunity to share with you that we have five new hires joining us this school year. Please help me welcome them into our Oakridge community.
